Welcome to Upstate Transgender Alliance
Upstate Transgender Alliance is the only Transgender support group serving
the upstate of South Carolina. Our group focuses on a variety of subjects
ranging from support for any Trans person or their families/friends,
education of the general public, current events pertaining to the GLBT
community, and current political events pertaining to the GLBT community.
Our group also participates in many GLBT events, working with various other
local organizations and entities to better our communities in hopes of one
day having equality in every part of our state. Currently UTA is a member of
a parent organization called Palmetto Transgender Association, linking all
the Trans support groups in the state together.
Our
meetings are held every 4th Saturday in Greenville from 6-8pm. You can come
dressed as any gender you wish as long as you are comfortable. All we ask
is that whatever you wear, that its decent. If you would like to attend

Public Speaking
Lately I have been getting alot of requests to speak at different
organizations. I am trying to schedule these so that I can get to
everyone of them however organizing them has become tedious. So if there
is anything that you need a speaker for on Transgender awareness and
education please contact me
here. I currently speak at gender studies classes for colleges, Gay
Straight Alliance meetings for schools, Human Resource Departments for
businesses, and I have even spoke at Emergency Management meetings for Fire
Police and EMS. If i can be of any service please dont hesitate to
contact me for more info.
